Up until I was in my mid 30’s I was pretty lucky regarding maintaining my goal weight. Add in three children and menopause at an early age and well my body went haywire and the weight just stacked on.

I tried countless diets over the years, Earth Diet, Keto diet, this diet that diet. I would lose some weight and then stack it back on plus more!

That is until I found My Net Diary. Its available in the Apple App store or Google Play. Its been a lifesaver and has held me accountable for over 3 years. Yes its a calorie counting app but unlike other apps you can set the pace you need to go at in order to lose the weight you want. You can set up a target date and target weight and My Net Diary will give you suggestions on meal plans, exercise and keep track of what you eat and how much protein, carbs etc are in each meal.

Keeping track of these features has helped me refine my eating habits and because I have to answer to My Net Diary every meal time I can see first hand if I have over done food wise for that meal.

You can keep track not only of your calories but also your insulin, blood pressure and various other medical issues you may have. This works well for those on insulin resistance diets as it helps you keep track of the amount of sugar you eat.

You can keep track of your body measurement, BMI and weight. It has links to meal plans and recipes in convenient categories to make it easy for you to meal plan.

You can add your friends to the app for support and help each other through the weight loss process as well as have access to a coach to help you through it. It also has a free and paid version so you can try before you buy!

Over everything I have tried this has helped me the most. I have 3 years worth of records and I can see the times I am most susceptible to putting on weight such as the holidays by looking at past charts.
