  1. Looking forward to following all your posts Vicky 😉 Congrats on your blog it is looking fabulous!!

  2. good luck with your Blog, Vicky. I see, like me, you do like Pork 🙂
but, I am a little surprised, NO Maldon Salt???? I so wish I could get it out here in South India (good Pork is also a little bit difficult to get at times)

    1. Yes our family loves pork! I use rock salt. I am not sure what Maldon salt is. It’s hymilian rock salt. Unfortunately myself and my husband suffer from stomach disorders so I have learnt to cook with ingredients that are not to processed and this salt has worked for us. Part of the reason I am writing the blog is to help others with similar problems. I have had to modify a lot of recipes to suit out diet requirements. But I would love to hear more on what ingredients you like to use! I also love a good curry but thanks to my GERD reflux I can’t really eat any as often as I like. Thank you so much for taking the time to write to me.

      1. Yeah I just have to believe what I do is good. Today I made duck with orange sauce! It came out good and I put the recipe together myself! But still you know me I was looking for complaints not compliments 😂😂😂

  3. I am going to have to see if I can get all these lactose feee ingredients in my local Coles or Woolworths. Great post!!! Thanks for sharing your recipe ❤❤ ~Kimi~

  4. Wow Vicky your granny squares are looking fabulous!!!! I am home now and can’t wait to start mine. Thinking I might do two lots in February so that I can catch up. ❤ ~Kimi~

  5. Awwww!! Thank you!! But don’t you dare underestimate yourself! You’ve made so many beautiful things and now with these squares you are making, you’re venturing out with new colours and lots of new stitches! Keep going, the more you do, the more confident you get with patterns 😁👍🏼🤗

    1. They were really nice! Very soft and delicate so you had to really cook one side before you flip them over but they were good. Yesterday I bought gluten free flour so I can do the actual cookies lol!

  6. Hope you stay strong and positive through the lockdown, time will fly! Yes, it generally should help to curb cases. Just wondering if we will ever get out of this completely.

  7. Very beautifully written!! And the pictures are so yummy!! I am a great fan of every kind of food and your blog makes me want to have a pancake right now🥺❤✌
