JAN EATON 200 BLOCKS CROCHET BLANK PROJECT – BLUE HORIZONS BLANKET

Recently I began working on a crochet blanket designed by well know crochet designer Jan Eaton. Her book 200 Crochet blocks for blankets, throws and afghans is one of the first crochet books I purchased when I began to learn the craft and by far it has been my favourite.

The book contains a wide range of squares from the traditional to modern designs. Included in the front of the book are details on how to match squares to form a blanket designed as well as predesigned blankets along with how many squares you need and where in the book your can find those squares to complete the blanket.

I have chosen the Blue Horizons blanket and it has a beautiful range of blue squares, one of the squares contained a green stripe which I used a blue to change it to match my daughters room. Overall the design remains the same as in the book.

You can follow my progress on the page by following my Facebook page just press on this link to take you there. I am hoping to share more updates soon.
