Squares 26-31 of the YARNuptopia 365 days of granny squares challenge

When I started this challenge I thought I could post on my blog each square and talk about what it was like to make that square but unfortunately time always gets away from me so I have decided to do weekly posts instead highlighting the squares I have finished in that week. So here are squares 26-31 to finish off the month of January.

As with all the squares I have completed I have followed the video tutorials by Nadia from YARNuptopia. She is fantastic at taking you through the making of the square step by step and in her blog there is a list of designer for each square. So without further ado here are the final squares for January.

These squares have been extremely fun to make. They follow a floral pattern. There is quite a number of different stitches ranging from traditional granny square stitch of a treble stitch (UK) or double crochet stitch in (USA) terms, to puff and cluster and extended treble crochet (UK) stitches. Some of these stitches I have never made before so it has been a wonderful experience in learning them.

If you are just starting out in crochet I urge you to try this challenge as you will learn so many valuable lessons in crochet.

Thank you for reading my blog . My next post will be the continuation of these squares as well as a few tips on surviving online or at home studying.

Have a great day.
